Starting out as 'Zoya' in 2015 – the band lost their brother and prolific guitarist – Valentine Shipley in 2020.
In a return to the live scene as 'LAHAUL' their music captures the confluence of hearts, souls, minds and talents of four awesome buddies and fantastic musicians. Influenced by Blues, Folk, Jazz, Reggae, Rock, Electronica - while staying true to Classical and Sufi traditions led by Prabhu's timeless voice - their music flows like river through the Lahaul expanse... alive, resonant, timeless, as their performances are mesmerising.

A poet who resides in the mountains, and tells it like you-know-it, He has toured & performed extensively over the last decade as 'Rising Malang'. Prabhu plays the Harmonium, Rabaab and lends his mellifluous voice and songwriting to this magnificent band of brothers.
Dilip Ramachandran 
on Drums
A master percussionist & drummer, he played his first gig at age four accompanying his Mridangam guru. He was part of the iconic band Parikrama (1992 - 2008) where he toured and performed at venues across the world. Dilip plays on a custom kit that includes a Cajon, Mridangam and various percussion bits...
ISHAAN CHHABRA

A child prodigy, he studied sound design at Berklee College of Music in Boston, went on to work as a composer & producer at AR Rahman Studios in Chennai. Over the recent years Ishaan has written film scores for directors such as Imtiaz Ali, Majid Majidi, Gurinder Chaddha and won many accolades as music director....

As his name suggests, a thinking musician, visual Artist and the bass man. Also a co-founder at Parikrama (1991 - 2012) Chintan is a multi-instrumentalist who plays in various bands – Kuru Circus & Orchestra, ContraBand,  etc., and has recorded & produced artists such as Nasha, Ska Vengers, Elmer Ate The Blimp...
